Children's Privacy Notice
Our commitment to protecting children's privacy under COPPA and applicable law.
Effective Date: March 4, 2026 | Version 1.0
Who This Notice Is For
This Children's Privacy Notice is addressed to parents and guardians of children and to any child who may visit this website. It explains how Edumiral treats children's personal information in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable laws.
This Website Is Not Directed to Children Under 13
The Edumiral placeholder website (www.edumiral.com) is directed to adults — parents, educators, and school administrators — and is not designed for or marketed to children under the age of 13.
Our waitlist and contact forms include an age attestation to help screen out under-13 registrants. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at and we will delete such information as quickly as possible.
About Our Future Platform
When Edumiral's educational platform launches, it will be designed to be used by children under appropriate supervision and with verifiable parental consent where required by law.
Before any child under 13 may use the platform, we will:
- Provide parents and guardians with clear, plain-language notice of our data practices.
- Obtain verifiable parental consent (VPC) through a legally acceptable method before collecting any personal information from children under 13.
- Give parents and guardians the right to review, correct, or request deletion of their child's personal information at any time.
- Not condition participation in any activity on the disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary.
- Maintain the confidentiality, security, and integrity of all information we collect from children.
- Not share children's personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
This notice will be updated with a comprehensive COPPA-compliant Children's Privacy Policy before the platform accepts child users.
Parental Rights Under COPPA
Parents and guardians have the right to:
- Review the personal information we have collected about your child.
- Request deletion of your child's personal information.
- Refuse to permit further collection or use of your child's information.
- Consent to collection and internal use without consenting to disclosure to third parties.
Safe Messaging for Teachers & Schools
School administrators and educators who contact us on behalf of their institution are not providing information on behalf of any specific child. Schools may act as agents for parental consent under COPPA for school-based activities. We will work closely with partnering schools to ensure full compliance with applicable law.
